TBG owns and operates the Brazilian portion of the Bolivia-to-Brazil Pipeline (BBPL), from the interconnection with the GTB pipeline at the Bolivian border to southeastern Brazil. (See fact sheet for Gas TransBoliviano, or GTB, regarding the Bolivian portion of the BBPL.)

Petrobras, the Brazilian state-owned oil and gas company, accounts for over the majority of TBG's volume transported, and British Gas accounts for the remaining volume. TBG's customers sell the transported natural gas to local distribution companies, which resell natural gas to power generating plants, industrial, commercial, and residential users. TBG's contracts with Petrobras are U.S. dollar based "ship-or-pay" contracts.
